The Courage to Change Program
A Journey of Transformation Through Christ

the program
Courage to Change
A Journey of Change Through Christ This program started from deep talks and big dreams about helping people grow stronger. We looked at ways to bounce back from hard times, learn about ourselves, and support each other. It uses old ideas about change but fits them to today’s problems. What began as simple chats turned into a clear plan. We believe real change starts with one courageous step of faith.
At its core,
the program’s purpose
is to introduce men in prison to the gospel of Jesus Christ and the transformative power of God’s Word. It guides them to understand who they truly are in Christ, who they were meant to be as children of God, and how they can become that through the Holy Spirit’s work. All this is accomplished by the power of the gospel, which, as the Bible declares, is the power of God unto salvation for all who believe (Romans 1:16). We firmly hold that real change can only come through the truth of Jesus Christ—facing the truth about themselves, their deepest needs and wants, and the reasons their lives derailed, leading them to their current circumstances in prison. Woven throughout are elements of my personal testimony: my own conversion experience and the daily walk of living out the gospel, demonstrating how Christ’s redemptive power has reshaped my life.
Embracing
a holistic approach
the program addresses individuals in mind, body, spirit, and soul, recognizing that true wholeness comes from nurturing every aspect of our God-given being. To this end, it includes a comprehensive physical fitness regimen tailored for all stages of physical development, with adaptive alternatives for those with disabilities, ensuring everyone can participate and grow. We believe a man should keep himself physically ready so that, at a moment’s notice, he can reach out to help others, share the gospel boldly, and serve and protect his family with strength and resolve.

Through
our carefully crafted books
serving as foundational guides—we aim to inspire participants to confront fears, cultivate inner strength, and foster meaningful connections, all illuminated by Scripture and prayer. The curriculum weaves together practical exercises, reflective journaling, and actionable strategies, blending biblical insights, mindfulness rooted in faith, and real-world applications to create a holistic roadmap for change.

We hope
to accomplish
not just individual breakthroughs, but a ripple effect of positive impact: healthier relationships, renewed confidence, and communities thriving on mutual upliftment. Central to this is the power of accountability—among ourselves as creators, and within the teams of participants who journey together. By committing to regular check-ins, shared goals, and compassionate feedback, members hold space for one another’s progress, turning solitary struggles into collective triumphs empowered by the Holy Spirit. In Courage to Change, we don’t just dream of a better tomorrow; we actively build it, one courageous, faith-filled act at a time.
